Welsh suicides and whether Labour's legacy for kids is fair-play

I can only imagine, on hearing the news of yet another child committing suicide in Wales, that most British parents are feeling, just as shocked as I am, but to hear that 17 deaths are in line with government statistics, for the population in that area, comes as more than a shock, its no less than a an insult to the society we live in, who exactly are these people keeping such records, without so much as a whisper to ordinary folk.

How long exactly has this been going on, I ask myself, no wonder the government reacts so lightly to the ever increasing daily murders on our streets, if these tragedies are regarded as being par for the course, I can only imagine the powers that be must compare us factory chickens.

Its then reported, that there is no connection between the deaths, Rubbish I say, they were all teenagers from the same area, in a part of the UK where I imagine there are even less facilities or opportunities than the average UK town, for children of any age to spent quality time doing, without having to face some kind street grief, from drug or alcohol primed louts, happy slapping bullies, killer dogs or general peer pressure not to mention the British weather.

Doesn’t anyone realise, just the way most of us live our lives these days, putting up with crap most of the time, indirectly affects the lives of the children we are closest to, the daily dose of chicken nuggets, has largely taken the place of a decent meal, a statement in itself, while worrying how we pay the next bill is more likely to be the talking point at the table, these kids see first hand, the struggles some of us have just to make ends meet, they can sense the stress as well as feel it, how fortunate it is then, that most of them don't read newspapers, apparently millions of us are now on depression tablets, which according to the latest report, don't work; can we wonder that some kids see no reason to go on.
