David Icke attacks Common Purpose.org!
Written by Jon

A shady conspiracy theorist speaks about a shady training organisation

Yes, that's right, David Icke - the pop prince of monarchical space lizards of the illuminati, is taking on Common Purpose.Org. A Uk 'charity' organisation whose "programmes share the same aim - to give leaders of today and tomorrow the information, insights, competencies and networks they need to become better leaders and to improve the way society works."

So why is Icke so upset? Having seen the 'machinations' of Common Purpose posted online by one Brian Gerrish of Plymouth , a local UKIP party supporter - Icke considers the work of Common Purpose to be nothing less then the taking over of England by stealth. Evidence is presented through a video lecture of Mr Gerrish - citing his local investigations into Common Purpose's activities in Plymouth. Charges are made that Common Purpose works closely with Criminal Perverts and Paedophiles, in accompaniment to local officials who may not fit into the aformentioned fine categories.

The allegation is also made that Common Purpose endevours to suppliment children's learning in the Nations schools, with it's own shady, badly-definined lesson programme. From supposed alleged blueprints for taking over a city psychologically through networking, and grooming leaders of the future from youth links with Common Purpose in the community, to over a million pounds of government funding diverted to Common Purpose's goals: Mr Gerrish's allegations are criminally serious and deserving of greater scrutiny to either verify or dispel.

Mr Gerrish has some key questions he would like answered by Common Purpose:

"First one is, that if you are a charity, it's very reasonable that you do your work in an open way where we can see where your money comes from and how you use that money, you are a charity...The overwhelming proof at the moment is that you are very secretive..."

"On top of that, Explain why it is that when we ask a city council "how much you've spent on Common Purpose' instead of saying 'we are delighted to tell the public that we have spent £200,000 and we think it's excellent value" - they don't want to tell us how much they've spent. In fact it's taken Phillip Davies as an MP to ask questions in the house to discover how much the MOD has spent or the social services have spent."

Well the Treasury spent £8,000 last year, and admitted over £21,000 in the last five years. The Department for Culture, Media & Sport presided over my Margaret Hodge Admits: "In 2002 DCMS paid for two of its employees to attend the Common Purpose Spring Programme, at a total cost of £8,460 in order to further develop their leadership skills."

It remains to be seen what happens in response to these questions being raised in the alternative media, hopefully public interest will provoke the wider media to pay attention to a story truly in the public interest.
