Top Ten Most Useless Jobs in Society 1. Recruitment Consultants. One of the few coveted 'Consultancy' jobs where you can earn only £24,000 a year. Highlights: Getting to decide which sucker is going to get to work with the maddest client today. Lowlights: Realising everyone's got a better job than you have. 2. Careers Advisors and Equality Officers. Faking job satisfaction for fun and profit. Being a Careers advisor isn't recommended by 9/10 Careers advisors. Highlights: Getting to tell kids they'll never be an astronaut - having unlimited race cards to hand out. Lowlights: Realising you've never been out of school, yet you've not learned anything or taught anyone a thing. 3. Social Workers. poor job satisfaction, stress and burnout, and that's if you don't get sacked for being useful. Highlights: Getting to smack around disabled people, put people in the asylum, and ignore child abuse staring you in the face. Lowlights: Realising your enabling a strata of society to exist that should have long died out through real progress. 4. Politicians. Be the best special interest champion you can be! This is How... Follow the leader Highlights: Getting into power and realising you are actually too incompetant to sort anything. Lowlights: Realising whatever power you've got you're going to lose eventually. 5. Lawyers of all flavours. Become a hero of justice. More you earn and learn, the more miserable you are! Bonus! Highlights: Getting big kickbacks to go sick and generally screw peoples chances at 'justice'. Lowlights: Realising you're going to spend the rest of your life reading boring shit and still not know what the law is. 6. Financial Advisors. Making money off no money? And making it from nicking? Highlights: Getting to steal other peoples money and make earnings on it. Lowlights: Realising that if you were actually any good, you'd be, well retired by now. 7. PCSO's & Police Officers. Why not commit suicide? Try not to take women and kids with you though. That's illegal like. Highlights: Getting to run people over, watch kids drowning and shoot foreigners. Lowlights: Realising you're not making anything much safer, or nicer, simply enforcing a societal power structure 8. Priests. 0.2 percent of Catholic priests are caught for peadophillia, paying their victim's families to take it like God intended. Highlights: Getting to corrupt youth, firstly in the mind, and secondly up the jacksie. Lowlights: Realising there is no God in the conventional state and that you've shook a lot of paedophilic hands. 9. Pub Tenants. Bar staff and publicans have the highest proportions of alcohol-related deaths. You don't say! Highlights: Getting to have massive wastage accidents that lead to staff parties where you fuck the barmaid. Lowlights: Realising you married the barmaid, are 60, and working 85 hour weeks to pay for your alcoholism. 10. Bankers. Bitter from Work + Loadsa money = mildly attractive to women. Win. Highlights: Getting to make money out of thin air and decide who can run businesses based on your clout. Lowlights: Realising you suck satans cock and no-one likes you and you're boring. N.B. This is a work of satire. Do YOU have a top ten? Why not? Could you really do everything? What could you never do for work? What other jobs are useless to society?        |

Just want to say how much I enjoyed this, but I have yet to hear of any social worker, or for that matter any white collar council worker, ever being sacked for anything. |
