PoeticEcstasy thrives on the regularity of feedback and participation in our ongoing Competitions, where the prize is always to be published in our "Poets of" upcoming series, along with changing specified and unspecified mysterious bonus prizes. PoeticEcstasy offers a unique and beautiful ideal - not only the free interchange of poetry, and not only the free interchange of poetry to help others through advertising revenues raised. People who chance across this site and adore a certain sonnet will be able to have it writ upon a physical or electronic card for a nominal charge - all of which will help us as a community grow and progress to Phase Two of our community. We're setting that particular paper airplane up soon. It might fly. It might not.

If you want to kick start your writing career - there is no more meaningful way. Journalists can be the one to net the community some big money with breaking news uncovered elsewhere. Fictional fantasists can serialise stories as they are written to garner interest in their talents, even donating whole works that may have been rudely dismissed by corporate publishers. Non-Fictional technicians of language can donate for the edification, education and enlightenment of all - regardless of financial wealth.

And everyone can use the site to market themselves and their writing prowess to a wider world...regardless of if they donate writing to TextualEcstasy or not. Everyone can write for a charitable purpose, but through TextualEcstasy it's free, easy and simply the best way to do things. Literally.

TextualEcstasy does not expect or enforce perfection. Being amateurs doesn't automatically mean the writings here are amateurish - it means they are done and donated for the love of the craft - and love of one's fellow man - not the love of money. Everyone loves quality though, and it'll be clear to see via statistics on each donated article on the site how popular it is.

The site is about the freedom of written expression, so there's lots of choice of what we take, publish and try and profit from towards funding the community's charity projects. It's different, quirky and quite edgy... we embrace both anonymous and fully filled out profile holders and do not allow feedback of a nature harmful to the site or the individual profile in question. We live for and through your feedback so don't hesitate to get in touch with an admin to clarify anything of concern.
