For as long as I can remember, I have been moved and motivated by music, lyrics and beauty in what ever form it takes, lately my attention has been somewhat diverted into highlighting the fact, that all too often a tragedy involving a child, is almost forgotten within days of the incident, motivated by such events, much of my writing is designed to bring this fact to the reader’s attention, in plain English, hopefully getting the story over, whilst employing a minimal amount of verse, to the greatest effect, perhaps even a tear.
For example, “Kimberly” I first wrote in 1999, She spent most of her short life, completely neglected and confined to a chest of draws, enduring incessant cigarette burns and being used as punch bag by her father, who is undouptedly a free man by now.
