I wanted to hold you, to love you,

needed to embrace you, to tell you,

that my eyes only sees you.

But when looking at you, could only at times find you,

when searching for you, was placed behind you,

and never with you, beside you.

And while at short sight could at times see you,

at hight sight would only perceive you,

never both looking ahead, my view was always blurred.

So as I once closed my eyes, had to kiss you goodbye,

and ignoring my blinks, my needs to foresee,

I kept my eyes shut, to visualise my dream.
