Hardly, I'm just so fucking tired, not even in body just in mind. It's only been a couple of months and I'm already really tired of the slack-jawed stupidity faced when explaining this project...

It's never going to get through to some people, I'm done explaining, anyone with half a brain can see what we're up to with CreativeEcstasy, TextualEcstasy, PoeticEcstasy etc etc...

IP / CREATIVE DONATION = CHARITABLE REVENUE...

I'm not giving up though, not now, not ever.

If people would rather spam Gumtree and MySpace with poetry and their thoughts, good for them, boost those corporate profits with the pennies from the heaven of your imagination. I don't give a shit. If people would rather hoard their writings for some magical moment of acceptance and accolation for their wonderful writings from a big publisher, that's cool too. Hope it happens for you!

I suppose we're most trying to reach the people that understand the true value of writing, words and communication, are not being measured in PPC or pennies per word, but measured in inspiration and consequent action they give rise to.

Sure we can offer the incentives of profile and portfolio building, social networking/bookmarking tools and whatnot, but without that corporate bollocks hope on deliverence hook of "we might make something of you", we're fighting against a tide of bullshit on the WWW that is hard to cut through. Truth is you make something of yourself in this world, and then, the agents come a knocking. This is hearsay to me though, I never had an agent knocking before, I'm agentphobic anyway. Dodgy bastards they are...

There's so many misconceptions of the new state of the game in relation to being a writer that it isn't funny at all. Blogging gave a breath of fresh air, new life and technology to writing, and spread it far and wide and took it outside of the Mass Media's control. I'm hoping this site can just hook into a slight part of that movement that realises the freedom of the internet is a gift to be celebrated and put to use solving social ills, and at the very least understanding why such diseases infect our collective experience in the first place.

Yet there has to be a focus. With the income of yahoo through their yahoo groups, with the income of MS live or whatever it's called, helium, poetry.com, etc etc etc.... HUNDREDS of projects could be funded eradicating large swatches of misery across the world. Even more importantly, they'd be transparent and operated by a community organic in it's inception and proliferation...

But they won't. Because we are locked into a system that focuses our energies on the constant attainment of power and resources, for private enjoyment, for the few. We chase the dreams of others thinking they are our own. I don't know if I'm any different. My dream of enough resources and power to create a homelessness shelter in East London, preferably Havering, isn't for some kind of egotistical "ain't I a nice guy" self-esteem boosting crap. It's just cause firstly I'd rather live on less and try and do this then work in some Restaurant, and secondly cause I feel like, everything I thought of EVER in my life was only to do with myself, my own pleasure, my own happiness, my own advancement...

and it left me separated from my wife, my family, my home, my sanity and my friends. So now I'll do this, whore myself for some 'great reward', and most of all continue to try and support the mode of the distribution of ideas from one which is squarely in the corporate mass media's control, to one where to idea is soverign, free and unrestrained by the duress of poverty, and 'professionalism'. The trend that began with the printing press, continued with the internet, and now culminates to us people, here now, standing on the shoulders of giants and hoping to turn great words, into great pennies for a great charity.

I'm not asking people to freely give novels for nothing. Sure I'd love a couple of best-sellers to power-charge the Website towards it's first goal, but it's all free choice, give what you want, what you can, whatever it is, the intention of giving and free dissemination gives writing a power it can never have when it is held close to a corporate bosom, in jealous denial of the fact that Information Wants to be Free.

And so do I.
to sleep - perchance - to wake up again...
adieu, and my apologies if you actually read that load of old bollocks.
